Mantashe: I have serious issues with BEE

Johannesburg - ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe has said he has "serious grievances" with BEE focusing on shareholding rather helping beneficiaries gain a deeper understanding of business on Tuesday.

He was addressing analysts as part of the ANC's programme to speak to various sectors in South Africa.

Tougher equity fines in law revamp: SAIRR

Johannesburg - Companies in the Western Cape face fines as high as 10% of turnover should they not comply with proposed labour equity laws drafted under the then labour department director general Jimmy Manyi, the SA Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR) said on Thursday.

Equity bill to fight white domination: ANC
